The hotel is situated in a great location with easy access to the town centre and nearby attractions. the accommodation itself was spacious and well-equipped, offering everything we needed to make our Christmas stay enjoyable. the bathroom was especially impressive with a separate bath and shower and underfloor heating, making it a luxurious experience. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the large selection of books available for our use.
We arrived to find that there was no key left for us and had to wait outside in the cold and rain for over an hour before someone arrived to let us in.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we were able to conveniently walk to the dartmoor prison museum in just 10 minutes. There was a private kitchen available for our use. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of the accommodations and the food provided. This place has everything you need for a great holiday.

Some guests have experienced issues with communication and the cleanliness of the bedding and kitchenware.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, within walking distance to shops and pubs. The key safe was easy to find and use. The room was well-equipped, with a fridge and toaster available, which made our stay more comfortable.
The check-in process was confusing as we were told conflicting information about the key location. The cleanliness of the room could have been improved, as we found some dirt and stains on the bedsheets.
